A journey along the Mekong river is genuinely exceptional

A journey along the Mekong river is genuinely exceptional

Mekong Delta

As one of the biggest rivers in the world, for centuries, the Mekong river has been the place for people to live and do farming activities. They have formed a richly-cultured Mekong Delta.

Mekong people’s markets are unique – They float. In these floating markets, people exchanged fruits, food, and other essential things. It is interesting to see fruits sample hung around on a stick, merchants jumping from boat to boat, or just simply have a local breakfast on the river.

There are small rows that take travelers to hidden corners of the river. You can also have the chance to visit locals’ boathouse, listen to their folk songs, and have tropical fruits.

A Mekong river trip often includes several visits to Mekong provinces: Tien Giang, Can Tho, Chau Doc, etc  Each place has its own interesting attractions. From Mangroove forests in Can Gio to floating markets in Tien Giang, lots of wonderful experiences are there for you to explore.
