Today, you will get to explore Hanoi’s rich history by visiting some of its famous landmarks including the Ho Chi Minh Complex, the iconic One Pillar Pagoda, and the ancient Temple of Literature. After lunch, you will have the chance to learn about Vietnam’s diverse cultures at the Ethnology Museum. To wrap up the day, you’ll enjoy a traditional water puppet show. Overnight in Hanoi.

Get ready for a fun-filled street food tour! Our guide will take you to hidden gems around Hanoi, where you’ll taste some of the best local eats. In the evening, our staff will escort you to your cabin on the train to Lao Cai. Overnight on the train.

Upon arriving at Lao Cai train station at 6 am, you’ll be picked up and taken to your hotel in Sapa, about an hour’s drive away. After arriving, enjoy breakfast and check-in (the early check-in is upon availability and the hotel’s policy). You’ll have some free time to explore the town on your own.

In the afternoon, meet your guide and driver for a leisurely trip. The uphill drive offers stunning views of Fansipan Mount, with beautiful rose flower farms and chayote growing on bamboo frames just outside of town.

Stop at the amazing Silver Waterfall, then continue to Heaven Gate and Tram Ton Pass, the highest mountain pass in Vietnam. At 2047m above sea level, spend half an hour walking around and taking in breathtaking views of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range. As you descend 7 km back to Sapa, stop to take pictures of lush farms in O Quy Ho, where various vegetables, flowers, fruit trees, and medicinal plants are grown. Finally, return to Sapa, with the trip ending with drop-off at your hotel.

Just 5km southeast of Sapa town, Ma Tra valley is known for its beautiful scenery and impressive terraced rice fields. The Hmong people started farming rice here in the early 20th Century and built these terraced fields to ensure a steady income.

The trip starts from Sapa at 08:30 am or 01:30 pm with a 5km road transfer. Then, you’ll walk downhill, cross a stream, and reach Suoi Ho village, which sits on top of a low hill. You can spend some time visiting local homes to learn about the local way of life. Then, you’ll continue walking along a large path on hillsides with beautiful views of the valley, terraced paddies, and flower farms. Later in the afternoon, we’ll take you back to Lao Cai Railway station for an overnight train to Hanoi. The overnight stay will be on the train.

Around 5.00 am, arrive at Hanoi and our staff will pick you up at the train station. Rest and breakfast in a hotel nearby the Hanoi train station. Around 8:30 am, our guide and driver will take you to visit Bai Dinh Pagoda. Afterward, head to Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Here, embark on a tranquil boat ride through a stunning network of rivers, caves, and lush greenery. Marvel at the limestone karst landscapes and enjoy the serene beauty of the natural surroundings. Then, our driver will take you to your hotel in Ninh Binh. Overnight in Ninh Binh.

Breakfast at your hotel in Ninh Binh. You will start the day by visiting Mua Cave. The cave is compared with “Great wall of China”. Here you walk 500 steps to reach the top of Mua cave then take a lookout of a splendid overview of Ninh Binh.

Having lunch at a local restaurant. Then, continue the journey with the ancient Bich Dong Pagoda, nestled harmoniously into the mountainside. As you explore this sacred site, you’ll be captivated by the intricate architecture and the serene ambiance that surrounds it. Take a moment to reflect and soak in the spiritual atmosphere that permeates the pagoda. Then, biking and enjoying the peaceful scenery there.

Return to Hanoi in the late evening, having dinner and overnight in Hanoi.

After breakfast, at around 8.00 am, we will pick you up to embark on a journey to the mesmerizing Halong Bay. On arrival, you are welcomed on board and served a mouth-watering lunch while cruising through the bay. Depending on which cruise you choose, the detailed itinerary will include a visit karst cave, kayaking (an extra option on most of the boats, some boat has kayaking included), swimming in crystal water, and enjoying the landscape or relaxing at the sundeck. The day will end with a sumptuous dinner on board, and you will spend the night under the starry sky.
